《逐梦》前言

国家中心城市是居于国家战略要津、体现国家意志、肩负国家使命、引领区域发展、跻身国际竞争领域、代表国家形象的特大型都市。建设国家中心城市是推动中国城市现代化进程的必然要求，将极大改变中国传统的城镇体系格局。

目前国家规划和支持北京、天津、上海、广州、重庆、成都、武汉、郑州、西安等九市建设国家中心城市的战略为这些城市注入了强大的发展动力，各个城市都在按照国家中心城市的标准、规划，发挥自身的特色、优势，不断提高城市的科技创新能力、国际竞争能力、辐射带动能力、交通通达能力、信息交流能力、可持续发展能力，城市实力快速提升，城市面貌日新月异，构成了中国建设发展的一道气势恢宏的时代图景。

城市的摄影家们在新的历史节点上，热切关注和记录着城市的发展变化，见证着一个个国家中心城市奋然崛起的历程。《逐梦》展出的作品是各个城市选送的，这是建设中的中国国家中心城市的一次绚丽相聚，展示了令人振奋的建设成就，昭示了更加美好的发展前景，也是摄影师们用充满激情的镜头讲述的精彩的中国故事。

Chasing dreams

National central cities are those mega cities that are located in national strategic key regions, reflect the state will, shoulder national missions, lead regional development, are in the international competition fields, and represent the national image. Constructing national central cities is a necessary requirement to promote the modernization of Chinese cities and will change Chinese traditional urban system pattern.
