China International Photographic Art Exhibition
China International Photographic Art Exhibition is one of the most important events hosted by China Photographers Association. This large-scale international photography exhibition is patronaged by F茅d茅ration Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP).
The exhibition is hosted every two years since being approved and established by Ministry of Culture of PRC in 1981, when it was firstly held, and has been successfully held 13 times in total by 2009. The event has received nearly 300,000 photos by over 50,000 photographers from more than 100 countries and regions, including 70,566 photos of 8,395 photographers from 106 countries and regions for the 13th exhibition, making it one of the top three international photographic events in the world.
 
 
National Photographic Art Exhibition
National Photographic Art Exhibition (NPAE) is one of the most influential nation-wide photographic events organized by China
Photographers Association, aimed at presenting the development of contemporary photographic art. Since 1957, it has been successfully held for 23 editions and so become one of the most renowned brand activities of CPA. NAPE commits itself to the goal of finding the talents, introducing the exquisite works, encouraging innovation and promoting the photography field home and abroad. From 1st to 22nd edition, one hundred thousands of exquisite works of nearly ten thousand photographers have been exhibited.
It has received 183,661 entries from 15,114 participants for the 23rd edition and set a new record for the largest number of entries and participants in the important photographic exhibitions of the world.
 
 
Golden Statue Award for China Photography
Golden Statue Award for China Photography intends to commend the photographers who obtained outstanding achievements and
enjoyed good reputation in the photography field. Established in February of 1988 and approved by Publication Department of CPC in 1995, Golden Statue Award for China Photography became one of the national awards in 11 artistic types permanently set up by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC), and is one of the highest individual achievement awards together with the Gold Rooster Award for China Film, China TV Gold Eagle Award and China Theatre Plum Blossom Award. Since the 4th Golden Statue Award for China Photography in 1999, this award was jointly organized and presented by CFLAC and CPA, and 8 editions have been held successfully up to now. Together with the development of the photography, after several adjustments, Golden Statue Award has increased to five awards in creation, theory research, photo editing, book and lifetime achievement from the initial three awards in creation, organization and outstanding contribution, and is assessed once every two years. In the 8th Golden Statue Award for China Photography assessed in July 2009, 53 persons were awarded, including 30 for creation, 9 for theory research, 3 for photo editing, 3 for books and 8 for lifetime achievement.
 
 
China Photographic Art Festival
In 1989, the 1st China Photographic Art Festival was held by China Photographers Association in Beijing and 7 editions have been held successfully up till now. This grand festival for Chinese photographers includes exhibition of the awarded works of Golden Statue Award, award-presenting ceremony of Golden Statue Award for China Photography, the national photographic art exhibition and other influential thematic exhibitions, various photographic lectures and forums and large-scale photographic trips. China Photographic Art Festival therefore becomes a pageant for Chinese photographers to exhibit their works, exchange ideas of techniques and discuss the trend of the future of photography. This important brand event for the Chinese photographic art is now broadly enjoyed by a large number of outstanding contemporary photographers.

China International Photographic Art Festival is a window and platform for China Photographers Association to bring international
excellent works to China and introduce Chinese photographers to abroad. The festival can be traced back to 2005. Focused on the
photography exchange between China and other countries, this festival involves the major exhibitions of important projects such as Black & White Biennial and Youth Print Biennial of F茅d茅ration Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP), China International Photographic Art Exhibition as well as many other photographic events.
